Stretch AB is selling its shares in the subsidiary Stretch Addera. The buyer is Communardo – a leading Atlassian partner in the European market.
The deal means that Communardo and Stretch Addera together become a strong Platinum Partner within Atlassian’s ecosystem in the European market.
Since the company was founded in 2013, Stretch Addera has grown from a regional player to become the market leader in Scandinavia for solutions and services related to Atlassian’s tools. As Atlassian’s platforms have gained ground globally, consolidation within the partner networks has also increased – especially in Europe.
– “Stretch Addera is ready to take the next step on its growth journey. The deal with Communardo opens the door to a broader European market and new opportunities for both customers and employees,” says Jan Maelum, Chairman of the Board of Stretch AB and Stretch Addera.
The Stretch Group – an entrepreneurial house in the Tech industry
The Stretch Group currently consists of 17 business-driven companies in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, with a total of approximately 320 employees. The deal includes three of these companies. Other operations within the group remain unaffected in their day-to-day business.
Each company within Stretch is fully responsible for its defined market. The other companies continue to grow and thrive in their respective markets.
The Stretch entrepreneurial model aims to create profitable companies with a clear market focus and strong entrepreneurial spirit. Each company develops with a high degree of independence, close to the customer, and at the forefront of its field.
The divestment of Stretch Addera shows the strength of the Stretch Group’s model: clear market focus, creation of independent companies, and strong entrepreneurship. This deal does not change our strategy – it strengthens it, comments Jan Maelum, Chairman of the Board of Stretch AB.
– “We now have full enthusiasm and confidence to start new successful companies – with both established and new entrepreneurs,” continues Jan Maelum.
